Valida Health appoints Titus Gylvin as Chief Executive Officer

Valida Health appoints Titus Gylvin as Chief Executive Officer Valida Health, a fast-growing Healthtech company and an active player within COVID-19 prevention, testing, diagnosis, monitoring and management of the disease, today announced that Titus Gylvin, MD, PhD will join the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective as of May 1, 2021.
Titus Gylvin joins Valida Health after almost 14 years outside Denmark, with the last 10 years at Roche Pharmaceuticals and prior to this in Novo Nordisk.
Mr. Gylvin has a strong track record in launching and commercializing a broad range of products with a deep knowledge of the patient journey, market access, and payer dynamics in Europe, China and the US.
During his 20 years in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry he has held several leadership positions in both strategic and operational roles across the value chain in global pharma and research. Titus initiated and accelerated large-scale strategic transformations and has proven experience in building high performing teams across cultures and functions. He is passionate about creating a culture of innovation and making a positive difference for people and societies in need.
He successfully established large scale public-private partnerships with leading healthcare Institutions in several European countries and has launched a broad range of products and healthcare solutions in challenging markets, making him an ideal candidate to lead Valida Health further as it expands its digital solutions and health offerings across Europe and globally.
A physician-business leader with a broad range of medical and commercial experience Titus Gylvin received his medical degree from the Copenhagen University, holds a Ph.D. in genetics (diabetes and obesity) from Steno Diabetes Center and is
an alumni at Harvard Business School.
