Understand your fatigue
One of our popular packages is the 'fatigue blood test', which is designed to identify causes of tiredness and exhaustion. Our healthcare professional will review your results with you so you can take control of your energy.
Analysis in the Fatigue Package
You will gain insight into this via. The Fatigue Package | Price: DKK 2,500.
Energy and blood
- Vitamin B12 : Deficiency can cause anemia, nerve damage and severe fatigue.
- Hemoglobin : Shows how much oxygen the blood can transport – low levels (anemia) cause fatigue and shortness of breath.
- Iron : Necessary to form hemoglobin – iron deficiency is a frequent cause of fatigue.
- Ferritin : Reflects the body's iron stores – low ferritin can cause fatigue even before anemia appears.
Infection and inflammation
- Leukocytes (white blood cells) : Elevated values may indicate infection, which can make you exhausted.
- C-reactive protein (CRP) : Marker of inflammation in the body – chronic inflammation can cause persistent fatigue.
Electrolyte balance
- Potassium and Sodium : Important for cell energy and muscle function – imbalance can lead to weakness, fatigue and decreased concentration.
Kidney and liver function
- Creatinine : Shows how well the kidneys are working – decreased kidney function can cause fatigue.
- Alanine transaminase (ALAT) : Enzyme from the liver – elevated values can indicate liver disease, which often causes fatigue.
- Albumin : Produced in the liver – low levels can indicate illness or malnutrition and contribute to fatigue.
Hormone balance
- Thyrotropin (TSH) : Controls thyroid function – too low or too high metabolism is one of the most common causes of fatigue.
Vitamin D level
- 25-Hydroxy-Vitamin D : Low levels can cause muscle weakness, fatigue and a weakened immune system.
Iron metabolism
- Transferrin saturation : Shows how well iron is transported in the blood – low saturation can cause fatigue, even if iron levels appear normal.
Blood coagulation
- Thrombocytes (blood platelets) : Values that are too low or too high may be a sign of underlying disease, which can also cause fatigue.
Possibility of surcharge
• Additional cholesterol panel (Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides) DKK 750.00.
• Supplement metabolic hormones DKK 500.00.
