The GI360 Profile analyzes the DNA of your gut microbiota and maps the abundance and diversity of more than 45 specific factors analyzed. Research has shown that these can contribute to imbalances in the gut flora (dysbiosis) and other chronic disease states. The test can identify the presence of disease-causing viruses, bacteria and parasites using real-time PCR. Since viruses are often the main cause of acute diarrhea, but are rarely tested for, the GI360 Profile can improve treatment strategies and lead to better patient outcomes.

Comprehensive Stool Analysis + parasitology
What does the result mean to you?
CSAP illuminates more than 25 possible causes of the symptoms. Based on the analysis results, a treatment can be tailored to the individual patient, so that not only symptoms can be alleviated, but also a causal treatment can be initiated. Based on the results, your therapist will set up an individual treatment plan, which may, for example, include an individually adapted diet and dietary supplement proposal as well as an assessment of how long the intervention should be followed. The duration of the intervention depends on the patient's individual needs and response. The treatment plan may involve eliminating imbalanced bacteria, reintroducing beneficial lactic acid bacteria (probiotics), balancing pH, relieving inflammation and irritation in the intestinal wall and supporting digestion.
In some cases, the test is performed again after 3-6 months, depending on individual needs.
Who is the analysis suitable for?
CSAP is a stool test that is suitable for anyone who wants to treat, prevent and optimize gastrointestinal function.
This may include patients who experience symptoms such as bloating, constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, pain, changing bowel patterns, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's, Celiac disease, Ulcerative Colitis), reactions to foods, joint pain, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, inflammation, eczema, autoimmune diseases or suspected fungal or parasitic infection, as well as patients who have taken a lot of medication such as antibiotics, NSAIDs and antacids.
The analysis may well be relevant even if you do not have a bowel-related diagnosis.
What is being tested for?
The test illuminates the composition of microorganisms in the intestinal flora and indicates their concentration.
Probiotics include bacteria (beneficial), bacteria that are potentially symptomatic (commensal) and dysbiotic (bacteria in imbalance), as well as parasites and fungi.
In addition, the analysis highlights digestive ability, including absorption of fat, carbohydrate and protein, inflammation markers, short-chain fatty acids and immune defense (secretory IgA).
