Analysis in the All-around blood test

You will gain insight into this via the All-around blood test | Price: DKK 2,500.

Liver, kidney and digestion

  • Bilirubins : Shows how the liver breaks down waste products in the blood – elevated levels can cause fatigue, yellowing of the skin or liver problems.
  • ALT (Alanine transaminase) : Enzyme from the liver – elevated values may indicate liver disease or stress.
  • Amylase : Enzyme from the pancreas – changes may indicate problems with digestion or the pancreas.
  • Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) : Enzyme related to the liver, bones and biliary tract – abnormalities can cause fatigue and discomfort.
  • GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) : Measure of kidney function – decreased function can lead to waste buildup and fatigue.
  • Creatinine : Shows kidney function – elevated values indicate reduced excretion of waste products.

Infection and inflammation

  • CRP (C-reactive protein) : Marker of inflammation or infection in the body – elevated levels can explain fatigue and malaise.

Vitamins and minerals

  • Vitamin B12 : Deficiency can cause anemia, nerve damage and significant fatigue.
  • Vitamin D (D3+D2) : Low levels can cause muscle weakness, decreased immune function and fatigue.
  • Iron : Necessary to form hemoglobin – iron deficiency is one of the most common causes of fatigue.
  • Transferrin saturation : Shows how well iron is transported in the blood – low saturation can cause fatigue, even with normal iron levels.
  • Ferritin : Reflects the body's iron stores – low ferritin can cause fatigue before anemia can be seen in hemoglobin.
  • Folate (vitamin B9) : Together with B12, important for blood formation – deficiency can lead to fatigue and impaired concentration.
  • Calcium : Important for muscles and nerves – imbalance can cause fatigue, muscle cramps or weakness.
  • Magnesium : Necessary for energy metabolism and muscles – deficiency can cause fatigue, restlessness and muscle pain.

• • Phosphate : Plays a role in the cells' energy metabolism – imbalance can cause fatigue and muscle weakness.

Electrolyte balance and protein

  • Potassium : Regulates muscle, nerve and heart function – imbalance can cause weakness and fatigue.
  • Sodium : Regulates fluid balance and energy – both too high and too low can cause fatigue and discomfort.
  • Albumin : Produced in the liver – low levels can indicate disease, inflammation or malnutrition and cause fatigue.
  • Urea : Waste substance that measures kidney function and protein metabolism – elevated levels may indicate impaired kidney function and fatigue.

Blood and oxygen transport

  • Hemoglobin : Shows how much oxygen the blood can transport – low levels (anemia) cause fatigue and shortness of breath.
  • Erythrocyte volume (MCV) : Shows the size of the red blood cells – helps find the cause of anemia (e.g. iron or B12 deficiency).
  • Leukocytes (white blood cells) : May indicate infection or inflammation, which often causes fatigue.
  • Thrombocytes (blood platelets) : Values that are too low or high can be a sign of illness, which can also cause fatigue.

Blood sugar balance

  • Long-term blood sugar (HbA1c) : Shows your average blood sugar over the past 2-3 months – imbalance can cause fatigue, fluctuating energy and be a sign of diabetes.
