Frequently asked questions:

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book a hormone analysis directly with Valida Health without a referral.

Does it hurt?

The blood test itself takes a few minutes and is experienced by most as a brief prick.

How quickly will I get a response?

Response times depend on the analyses performed, but you will be notified as soon as the results are ready, followed by a professional review.

How do I book an appointment for a local blood test?

To have a blood sample taken near you, you must first book an online/telephonic blood test.

At the scheduled time, you will have a brief introductory conversation with one of our healthcare professionals. Here you will agree on which hospital you wish to have the blood test taken at. After this, we will order the blood test and ensure that it is ready in the system.

Once the blood test has been ordered, you must book an appointment for the blood draw yourself at the desired hospital. After that, you can show up and have your blood sample taken.

When will I get a response?

You can view your blood test results on sundhed.dk just 1-2 business days after the sample is taken. Our nurse will then review your results and contact you by phone within 2-3 business days for a thorough review of the results. The conversation also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice regarding your results.

How can you help afterwards?

After your blood test, our healthcare professional can make an overall assessment of your situation based on both your blood test results and the symptoms you are experiencing. If relevant, we can offer hormone therapy, which can help restore estrogen levels and alleviate symptoms associated with menopause. The treatment is always tailored individually to your needs and health situation.

What does the hormone analysis cost? And what is included?

The hormone analysis costs DKK 2,000 and includes an initial consultation, where our healthcare professionals review your situation and symptoms. Additionally, the process includes blood sampling either at our clinic in Hellerup or at a local hospital near you, as well as a subsequent telephone review of your blood test results with personalized advice.

Can other blood test markers be added?

Yes. You can always add more blood test markers if you wish. When you book your appointment, you will have the option to choose a range of relevant markers as add-ons.

If you require analyses that are not included among these, we recommend a customised blood test package. Here, the process begins with a free initial consultation, where we together review your needs and find the solution that best suits you. You can book an appointment that suits you here.
