Analysis in the Heart Package

This is what you gain insight into through the Heart Package | Price: DKK 2,000

Fluid balance

Fluid levels indicate the body's fluid balance and kidney function. When this balance is disturbed, it can affect blood volume and thus the strain on the heart and circulatory system. It can also impact blood pressure and overall heart function.

Hemoglobin

Hemoglobin is the protein in red blood cells that transports oxygen around the body. If the level is low, both muscles and heart receive less oxygen, which can lead to fatigue and increased strain on the heart.

Organ marker

Organ markers are used to assess the function of the body's organs such as the liver and kidneys. As these organs play an important role in regulating blood and waste products, imbalances can indirectly affect the cardiovascular system.

Leukocytes + CRP

Leukocytes and CRP are markers for inflammation in the body. Elevated levels can indicate a low-grade or active inflammatory state, which over time can increase the risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease.

Comprehensive Cholesterol Panel + Triglycerides

This panel shows the distribution of fats in the blood, including LDL, HDL, and triglycerides. Imbalances – particularly elevated LDL and triglycerides – are associated with an increased risk of atherosclerosis and thus cardiovascular disease.

ApoB

ApoB is an important marker for the number of atherogenic (potentially harmful) cholesterol particles in the blood. An elevated level is a strong indicator of the risk of developing atherosclerosis.

Platelets

Platelets, also known as thrombocytes, help blood to clot. High levels can increase the risk of blood clots, while low levels can affect the body's ability to stop bleeding.

Metabolism

Metabolism controls the body's energy turnover and directly influences heart rate, cholesterol levels, and circulation. Both high and low metabolism can affect the heart and its workload.
