Influenza

• Influenza virus primarily affects the respiratory tract and can vary in severity. Vaccination is an effective prevention that reduces the risk of infection, hospitalization and death, especially for the elderly over 65 years of age, pregnant women and people with chronic diseases.

• We offer a high-dose 4-valent influenza vaccine

• Recommended to be given from October to the end of the year

• Protection occurs approximately 2-3 weeks after vaccination. Protection lasts approximately 6-12 months, so revaccination every year is necessary.

• Side effects: Redness, swelling and tenderness at the injection site. Headache, malaise and fever

Covid

Covid boosters are essential for maintaining and improving immunity against COVID-19.

Can be given to people aged 12 years and up.

• These booster doses strengthen the body's ability to fight the virus and protect against serious illness.

• Regardless of which vaccine you have previously received, it is possible to be revaccinated with a variant-updated vaccine. Vaccination is done with the most updated variant vaccine, Comirnaty JN.1.

• Covid boosters have proven effective with mild side effects such as fatigue, pain at the injection site, and mild fever.

• Vaccination is postponed in cases of acute illness or fever, in people with severe allergies to one or more of the ingredients.

• Pregnant women are recommended to be vaccinated in the 2nd or 3rd trimester. If the pregnant woman has other risk factors for a severe course of COVID-19, she should be vaccinated in the 1st trimester.

• Vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza can be administered and given at the same time.
